Junior Sales Position

Purpose of role: A dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Junior Sales Representative specialising in, training, servicing, hire fleet, and spare parts within the Utilities & Construction industry. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in expanding our client base, fostering customer relationships, and promoting our comprehensive range of solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and advancement within the sector. Main Duties: •Handling sales enquiries (spare parts) •New business opportunities. Targeting new customers to sell our add on products oServicing/repairs/calibrations oTraining oHire fleet •Customer relationship management •Special projects •Reporting Specific duties: Handling sales enquiries and following up leads •Telephone enquiries and web forms – investigate origin and potential •Handling of the enquiry including gathering all relevant information to produce quotations •Pro-actively follow up quotations/estimates •Coordinate with internal teams, including service technicians, trainers, and spare parts specialists, to address client requirements and deliver tailored solutions Business Development •Collaborate closely with senior sales representatives to identify and pursue new business opportunities related to, training, servicing, hire fleet, and spare parts •Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients and industries in need of machinery, equipment, and related services within our sector •Information gathering for exportation opportunities to assist Sales Executive and Sales Manager •Proactively reach out to prospective clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events, to introduce our range of products and services •Follow up on leads generated through marketing initiatives, trade shows, and customer referrals to schedule meetings and product demonstrations •Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of our service offerings Customer relationship management •Attend trade shows to increase direct sale opportunities and face-to-face marketing •Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and assistance to ensure their needs are met effectively, gain knowledge and encourage repeat business •Manage and update CRM software with accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales transactions to facilitate efficient follow-up and reporting •Document summaries of interactions with clients, including meetings, phone calls, and emails exchanged. Capture key discussion points, client feedback, and any follow-up actions agreed upon during these interactions Special Projects •Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted sales strategies and promotional campaigns to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals •Market Research Findings: Compile findings from market research activities into comprehensive reports. Include information on industry trends, competitor analysis, customer preferences, and emerging market opportunities. These reports serve as valuable resources for informing sales strategies and identifying potential areas for growth Reporting •Review and analyse sales KPIs •Sales activity reports detailing sales activities such as calls made, emails sent, meetings scheduled, and product demonstrations conducted •Pipeline Updates: Maintain and update the sales pipeline report with information on leads, prospects, and opportunities at different stages of the sales process. Include details such as the potential value of deals, expected close dates, and any specific actions required to advance each opportunity. •Sales Performance Dashboards: Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards using CRM software or other analytics tools •Forecasting Reports: Collaborate with senior sales representatives to forecast future sales revenue based on current pipeline opportunities, market trends, and historical performance data Any other work required by the organisation as specified Required experience: •Experience of dealing with customers on the phone or in person •Experience of a changing working deal to manage customer expectations and any issues that may occur •Sales target driven •Experience seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media •Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service within the manufacturing industry, particularly in machinery and equipment sales, is preferred Personal qualities: •Analytical •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and internal stakeholders •Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment •Self-motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives with an eye for spotting opportunities •Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals •Positive attitude, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming challenges and managing expectations •Flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings, product demonstrations, trade shows, and industry events as needed

Temporary Welder

Job Description: Working with the Production Manager, fabrication and assembly team, we are looking for a Production welder to support the ABC Anchors business with production to ensure we meet customer deadlines. We're looking for a welder who can: -Read Technical Drawings and Measurements. -Operate a range of hand and power tools, and operate an overhead crane to transport materials / components. -Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety. -Produce batch components to a high level of finish, maintaining product integrity throughout. -Act as part of the team, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
