About the Role - Production Welder Job in Wiltshire

This is a hands-on welding and fabrication job in Wiltshire, working closely with our Production Manager and team to deliver projects on time - often to tight deadlines.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are manufactured to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and measurements
Preparing and setting up components for welding
Cutting materials using powered saws and fabrication tools
MIG welding and working with TIG and MMA welding equipment
Welding in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions
Using hand tools and overhead cranes safely
Producing large batch components to specification
Inspecting your own work to maintain quality standards
Maintaining equipment and ensuring safe working practices
Supporting continuous improvement within the workshop

Skills Required for This Welding Job

If you’re looking for fabricator or welder jobs in Wiltshire, here’s what we’re looking for:

Essential:

Proven MIG welding experience in a production environment
Ability to weld accurately and efficiently at speed
Experience with TIG, MMA, or similar welding processes
Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
Experience using workshop tools (saws, calipers, squares, etc.)
High attention to detail and ability to self-inspect work
Ability to meet deadlines and production targets
NVQ Level 3 in Welding (or time served)

Desirable:

Welding certifications or previous coding experience
Forklift licence
Experience working within a Quality Management System
Awareness of environmental and sustainability practices
