What is an auger drive used for?
An auger drive (also known as an auger powerhead) is used for drilling holes into the ground for applications including utility pole installation, fencing, foundations, ground investigations and civil engineering projects.

What is the difference between a Powerhead and a Torque Head?
Powerheads are primarily designed for drilling using augers.
Torque Heads are designed to install helical screw piles and foundation systems where controlled installation torque is required.

What is the Postmaster?
The Autoguide Postmaster is a hydraulic vibrating post driver designed to install fence posts quickly, accurately and safely. It is widely used across agriculture, highways, utilities and commercial fencing.
Can the Postmaster install different types of posts?
Yes. We can manufacture bespoke jaws to suit different post profiles and applications, including specialist steel sections where required. The Postmaster is supplied with jaws to suit round and square posts as standard.
What is a Pole Grab used for?
Pole Grabs are designed to safely lift, handle, position and remove utility poles. They are available for cranes, excavators and front loaders.
What are Spreader Bars used for?
Our Cable Drum Spreader Bars are designed for the safe lifting and handling of cable drums, helping utility contractors move heavy drums safely and efficiently.
Do you manufacture bespoke equipment?
Yes. Many of our customers require equipment designed around a specific application. Our in-house design team can modify existing products or develop completely bespoke hydraulic equipment to meet your requirements.
Services & Support
Do you service Autoguide equipment?
Yes. We provide servicing, repairs, inspections and calibration for Autoguide equipment. Our technicians carry out a full assessment before providing a quotation for any repair work.
Can you repair older machines?
Yes. We regularly repair and refurbish both current and older Autoguide equipment, subject to parts availability.
Do you offer calibration services?
Yes. We calibrate hydraulic equipment using our dedicated in-house testing facilities. Calibration certificates are available following completion where applicable.
Can I buy spare parts?
Yes. We supply genuine spare parts for all current Autoguide equipment and many legacy machines. Our team can identify the correct parts using your machine model or serial number.
Where can I find product manuals?
Product manuals are available through our website. If you cannot find your model, simply contact our team with the machine serial number and we'll help locate the correct documentation.
