You’ll be responsible for assembling bespoke and small-batch equipment, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and hydraulic circuit diagrams, and carrying out functional testing to guarantee reliability. Occasional site visits for installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting keep the role varied and hands-on.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a hands-on engineer who could be suited to a plant or agricultural engineer with experience in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical assembly. You should be confident interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions, and have leadership experience to mentor and support the workshop team. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and pride in delivering quality work are essential.

Desirable qualifications include NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, ALLMI or crane experience, and experience in quality systems or lean manufacturing.
