Now here’s to you, Mr Robinson…

Richard Robinson, Autoguide Managing Director, passes on the presidential baton at the Institution of Agricultural Engineers annual conference.

The Institution of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE) is the professional body for engineers, scientists, technologists and managers in agricultural and allied landbased industries, including forestry, food engineering and technology, amenity, renewable energy, horticulture and the environment.

Outgoing IAgrE President, Autoguide’s Richard Robinson, receives a plaque from incoming President Peter Leech.

Two years as President Elect, on the 8th May 2008 Autoguide’s managing director Richard Robinson became the President of the IAgrE. This was something we were all extremely proud of here at Autoguide. Richard is a previous winner of the Branch Meritorious Award and has been involved with the Institution for over 40 years. Richard, along with Dr Andy Scarlett also introduced the IAgrE Young Engineers Competition and through Autoguide, has sponsored the successful event since its inception.

After two years at the helm, on the 11th May 2010 Richard passed the baton on to Peter Leech at the Institution’s annual conference at Cranfield University. Richard wishes Peter all the luck in the role and hopes that he finds it as enjoyable as he did.

All at Autoguide would like to congratulate Richard on his successful two year tenure…
