E.ON gets down to earth with Autoguide equipment

Leading earth drilling manufacturer, Autoguide Equipment has carried out after-sales training for Central Networks, the electricity distribution business of energy giant E. ON UK.

The training day was designed to help Central Networks field based staff learn how to use Autoguide Equipment’s power head and augers in a safe and efficient manner.

Having specified Autoguide Equipment earth drilling equipment, field operatives from Central Networks were invited to attend a training and trouble- shooting day. This included a classroom and outdoor practical session on how to operate Pole Erection Units safely and efficiently.

Potential problems were met with solutions by Autoguide Equipment including confirmation that the company’s power heads could be modified to enable them to work at more acute angles.

Neil Williamson from Ceva Logistics comments, “Autoguide Equipment has proven to be responsive and flexible to meet our operational requirements and has provided an excellent after-sales service for the auger motors that were purchased by Ceva Logistics on behalf of Central Networks.”

The training received with positive feedback from Central Networks representatives, who use Autoguide Equipment’s auger and power heads for installation and maintenance programmes across Central England.
