At the end of the last cricket season Mildenhall Cricket Club decided to replace the old 4HP Kola engine and original crash gear box in their 50 year old Auto-Roller. Mike contacted Autoguide Equipment of Heddington in Wiltshire who were able to supply their Re-Power kit at a price which suited Mildenhall.

With the assistance of a friend, with a basic knowledge of motor engineering and the guidance of a comprehensive fitting manual, Mike was able to replace the old engine and gear box with the new unit and power steering kit. The job took approximately five hours to complete.
Mike is now confident that with a coat of paint his Autoroller is now good for at least another 50 years.
